The lab @IITH primarily focuses on theoretical and technology aspects of quantum
communication. This includes primarily:

Quantum Key Distribution and Cryptological Primitives

Design and analysis of protocols and security primitives.

Design and development of QKD hardware.

Deployment of and experimentation on commercially available quantum communication hardware.

Collaboration with the financial and strategic sector regarding this.

Design and Development of the Quantum Internet

Design and analysis of protocols for a generic quantum internet using technologies like quantum repeater networks.

Simulation software and implementation test bed.
